UCSF Lymphedema Program has officially been designated a Lymphatic Education & Research Network
The UCSF Lymphedema Program has officially been designated a Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) Comprehensive Cancer Center of Excellence in Lymphatic Diseases by the Lymphatic Education & Research Network.
The international designation recognizes the program’s multidisciplinary approach to lymphatic disease, bringing together clinical care, research, education, innovation, and collaboration.
Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. John Rose is among the team of physicians, advanced practice providers, certified lymphedema therapists, nurses, researchers, administrators, and staff whose work contributed to this achievement.
With this designation, University of California, San Francisco joins a global network of Centers of Excellence focused on the understanding and treatment of lymphatic diseases and expanding access to specialized care worldwide.
